What to Expect

At Coachella 2012, AV Concepts wowed the world by working with Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and Digital Domain to bring Tupac back to life, live in concert, with an impressive hologram-like video display. Of course, this was not the company’s first experience in showcasing the technology. In 2011, AV Concepts broke the record for the largest 3D holographic projection—a 2,000-square-foot display was installed for a corporate event in Las Vegas that allowed attendees to interact with 3D holographic presentations.

Headquartered in Arizona, AV Concepts operates an additional facility in San Diego, supplying clients with audio-visual, staging, and technical services for a wide range of live events. Notable projects have included work on the 54th Grammy Awards, Hard Rock San Diego’s Pinktober event, The American Music Awards, U.S. Navy events, and corporate clients like Starbucks and VMware. Additionally, AV Concepts is a preferred audio-visual provider for the San Diego Convention Center, Phoenix Convention Center, Hotel Valley Ho, and the Scottsdale Plaza Resort.

Priding itself on technical expertise and excellent customer service, AV Concepts operates with a high level of professionalism, expecting the same from all of its employees. The company employs technicians and creative designers in a number of specialties, including live audio production, projection design, video engineering, project management, and lighting, among others. When available, AV Concepts does offer full-time positions, and applicants should expect an intensive interview and screening process. Naturally, the nature of the business requires travel and irregular hours. Open positions are listed on the company’s official website, and candidates may apply via email.
